Inspired by Jerome Robbins’ ballet, Fancy Free, On the Town is the high-energy story of three daring sailors who, in 1944, spend a 24-hour leave in New York City. Squeezed for time, they somehow manage to find adventure and love in the Big Apple. On the Town features favorite musical numbers, including New York, New York, Lonely Town and the hilarious I Can Cook Too, as well as the famed Coney Island Ballet.
