Be immersed in the words of Samuel Beckett as audiences of 12 gather around a single performer murmuring into the darkness in this 30-minute meditation on the nature of being. Texts for Nothing will be presented from January 20–February 6, Thursday through Sunday, at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The piece was developed by Conservatory theater faculty member Douglas Lockwood and director Connor Berkompas (B.F.A. ‘20, contemporary theater), Conservatory alum and the founding artistic director of Nervous Theatre. Sponsored by a Berklee Faculty Development Grant. Learn more at www.nervoustheatre.com.

Berkompas and Lockwood will host a Q&A on Monday, February 7, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Opera Studio to discuss Texts for Nothing as well as Berkompas’s theater company Nervous Theatre.

This performance is presented in person. View Berklee's updated health and safety protocols for patrons of our performance venues.
